Job summary

Shinola in Edina, Minnesota, is looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to uphold Shinola Guest Experience standards, greet and assist guests, and help with visual and operational tasks. Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, answering phones, engaging guests daily.
• Ensure Shinola Guest Experience standards are met.
• Maintain Visual and Operational Standards.
• Gift Wrapping, as needed.
• Support the team during peak holiday months (Nov–Jan).
• Occasionally support store events outside posted hours.
• Keep store areas clean, presentable, and stocked.
• Process shipments, pack orders, and handle other operational tasks as needed.
• Adhere to Time & Attendance policies and Standards of Conduct.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure consistent Shinola Guest Experience standards are met.
• Ensure Visual and Operational Standards are met.
• Greeting guests, answering phones, engaging guests daily.
• Gift Wrapping, as needed.
• Support the team during peak holiday months, November - January
• Occasionally support store events (in-store, offsite) outside of store posted operating hours.
• Keeping all areas of the store clean, presentable, and stocked.
• Processing shipments, packing orders and other operational requirements as needed.
• Regularly and consistently abides by Time & Attendance policies and all policies and procedures included within.
• Regularly and consistently abides by the Standards of Conduct and Ethics, and all policies and procedures included within
• Availability to include either/and/or days, nights and weekends as needed for the business.
• Must be available to work during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas
• Temporary position, could end on or before the seasonal holiday period end date depending on business needs, availability and/or labor hour needs.

Employment Details:

• Employment Type : Seasonal (temporary)
• Employment Period : Begins October 25, 2026 - January 23, 2027, not to exceed 90 days of seasonal status employment
  • Start dates may be anytime between October 25 to December 12, 2026
  • Seasonal employment may conclude anytime within the seasonal employment period based on but not limited to, the needs of the business, scheduling availability, labor hours allowed, and your personal productivity.
  • The last day allowed to work as a seasonal status will be January 23, 2027 for any seasonal employees, regardless of start date.
  • Depending on store needs, potential opportunity for continued employment after the seasonal period ends.
