The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key business aspects, and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion, trainees may be considered for promotion to supervisory roles that support store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Utilize deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Communicate effectively with store management and staff.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
