The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees may be considered for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
