The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned tasks to develop management skills, learns about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service, and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful training completion, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 25
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
