Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead daily operations in our Petal, Mississippi location. You will guide team members in preparing beverages and food to our standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes coaching peers, managing tasks, and upholding store safety and policies. The ideal candidate has 6 months of customer-facing experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate and direct team efforts on fast-paced shifts.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• Six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to ensure quality beverages and food items are prepared to standard recipes.
• Coach team members on beverage and food preparation and customer service best practices.
• Maintain cash handling and store safety procedures during all shifts.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment and build relationships with customers and staff.
• Collaborate with the team to meet store policies and achieve sales goals.
