Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a part-time Shift Supervisor to lead a busy coffeehouse team in Sanford, NC. You will oversee daily operations, ensure the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes, and deliver outstanding customer service during varying shifts.

You will coach teammates, coordinate tasks, and ensure cash handling and store safety. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a role involving regular interaction with customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees.
• Prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customized per customer.
• Able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Maintain store policies including cash handling and safety.

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
