Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart in a welcoming community space. You will guide the team, ensure quality beverages and foods, and uphold safety and cash-handling standards.

The role requires experience in customer-facing positions, ability to delegate tasks, strong communication, and a commitment to Starbucks’ service standards. Expect flexible hours and opportunities for growth through our benefits program.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of others and coach team members to ensure quality beverage and food preparation.
• Maintain store safety, cash handling, and adherence to operating policies and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues to brighten customers' experience.
• Delegate tasks to team members and coordinate duties of two or more employees.
• Support scheduling and flexibility to meet store needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
