Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor who will lead with craft and heart to make our coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. This role requires coaching staff, ensuring quality beverages and food, and maintaining store safety and standards.

You will work with a team, meet operating policies, and support development opportunities and a positive customer experience. Benefits and growth opportunities are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a role involving constant interaction with customers.
• Ability to prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• Experience delegating tasks to other employees and coordinating two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages, food, cash handling, and safety.
• Coach and guide team members in food and beverage preparation and customer service.
• Ensure safety and security of the store while serving customers.
