Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart, ensuring a welcoming community space. The role involves overseeing shift operations, coaching partners, and maintaining quality beverages and food items.

You will contribute to a positive work environment, uphold store safety, and manage customer interactions while supporting a collaborative team and meeting store standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers.
• Six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and coordinating tasks of two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and maintaining store safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse welcoming for the community.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance, including flexible hours.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes.
• Delegate tasks to team members and coordinate activities of two or more staff.
• Ensure quality beverages and food, cash handling and store safety.
