Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor for our Charlotte, NC location. You will lead daily shift operations, coach team members, and ensure beverages and food are prepared to standard or customized recipes, maintaining a welcoming store environment for customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to variable hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent customer service is essential to our brand experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Six months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of the shift team to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or customized for customers.

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
