Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor in Centreville, VA to lead daily store operations, ensure quality beverages and food, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach team members, delegate tasks, and maintain safety and cash-handling standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 6 months of customer-facing experience, flexible availability, and the ability to work with a diverse team to create a welcoming store experience for the community.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance, with or without accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights or holidays.
• Meet store policies, provide quality beverages/food, cash handling, store safety with accommodation.
• Six months in a role requiring constant customer interaction and fulfilling requests.
• Prepare and coach beverage/food prep per standard recipes or customized for customers.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees.

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
