Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart, creating a welcoming coffeehouse for the community. You will oversee beverage and food preparation to standard recipes, coach teammates, and ensure safe, efficient store operations.

Role requires scheduling flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• Ensure quality beverages and food products, cash handling, store safety and security.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality; be flexible with hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Delegate tasks to team members and coordinate work of two or more employees.
