Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Bellevue, WA to lead a team and maintain the highest standards of customer care and product quality. You will coach partners, ensure smooth shift operations, and create a welcoming environment for the community.

Responsibilities include guiding beverage and food preparation, enforcing store policies, and managing tasks for two or more team members while maintaining safety and cash controls.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a role with continuous customer interaction
• Six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly
• Effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to create a welcoming Starbucks store experience
• Ensure quality beverages and food to standard recipes and customer needs
• Manage shift operations, staff delegation, and safety during service
• Uphold store policies, cash handling, and security procedures
• Provide coaching and on-the-floor support to partners during shifts

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
