Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a frontline security supervisor to lead Public Safety staff and coordinate security operations across shifts. You will enforce facility policies, respond to emergencies, and mentor junior officers while ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

A valid GA driver’s license and security experience are required. The role offers schedule flexibility and opportunities for professional development within Piedmont's healthcare security

Qualifications

• 4 years of general security, military, or public safety experience required.
• DL Number: valid driver’s license in state and adherence to Piedmont's vehicle safety program policy 3500 on hire required.
• IAHSS certification as a Security Officer preferred.
• Georgia POST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Frontline supervision of all assigned security functions and Public Safety staff.
• Coordinates all routine and emergency security activities as assigned by policy or management.
• Enforces all PHC regulations and applicable state and federal laws.
• Advocates crime prevention and a secure work environment through observation, interaction, and intervention.
• First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility.
• Supervise and develop junior officers.
