Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. Two day shifts and two night shifts, with weekend availability. Previous supervisory experience is required.

You will direct associates on a shift, train staff, schedule, and assess performance while ensuring quality, safety and productivity. Pay is $25.26 per hour, with benefits and a bus pass or parking options.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory/leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports to ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employee requests and time-off considerations.
• Mentor employees and encourage advancement; perform other duties as assigned.
