The position runs Thursday–Monday, 10pm–6am, with competitive hourly pay and onsite perks. Supervisory responsibilities include coaching, incident reporting, and ensuring training completion.

Qualifications

• California Security Guard License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the delivery of security services on the assigned shift.
• Act as liaison between Account Manager and security officers; maintain clear expectations.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and corrective discipline to shift staff.
• Conduct regular uniform inspections and post checks for policy compliance.
• Ensure monthly training modules are completed on time.
• Patrol facilities, respond to emergencies, and investigate disturbances.
• Operate company vehicles for site checks and duties.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain documentation.

Prosegur Security is seeking an experienced, professional Unarmed Shift Supervisor for a premier corporate campus in San Jose, CA. This leadership role oversees shift operations, manages on-duty security staff, drives high customer service standards, and ensures seamless security execution across the facility.

Shift Schedule

Thursday – Monday (10pm – 6am)

Key Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the delivery of quality security services on the assigned shift.
• Act as a direct liaison between the Account Manager and security officers, maintaining clear operational expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, recognition, and corrective discipline to shift staff.
• Conduct regular uniform inspections and post checks to ensure full compliance with company and client standards.
• Ensure all assigned shift personnel complete required monthly training modules on time.
• Patrol client facilities, prevent safety hazards or policy infractions, respond to emergencies, and investigate site disturbances.
• Operate company vehicles as required for site checks and operational duties.
• Write detailed incident reports, review shift logs, and maintain neat, accurate documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid California Security Guard License (Required) and High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or workplace leadership experience
• Valid Driver's License and ability to operate a work vehicle for site duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; intermediate computer skills (MS Office, smartphones, wireless tech).
• Ability to make independent decisions, work without direct supervision, and handle crises calmly and efficiently.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods and work in varying weather conditions.
• GSOC/SOC experience, knowledge of alarm/CCTV/access control systems, and familiarity with WinTeam, eHub, or Envoy platforms.
• CPR Certification is a strong plus
