Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.

• Location: Cape Canaveral Hospital - 701 West Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Days and hours may vary; weekends are required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1 year of previous supervisory experience required. Previous dietary experience is a plus.

• Pay Range: $17.50 per hour to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the point of contact for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor employees and encourage goal setting and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
