Job summary

Morrison Living in Leavenworth, KS is hiring immediately for a full-time Shift Supervisor. This role covers a 10:00 am to 8:30 pm shift with rotating weekends and holidays, and provides opportunities to train teams and advance within a top hospitality company.

You will direct associate activities on a shift, manage schedules, monitor performance, and ensure quality, safety, and policy adherence; you may mentor staff and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory and food service experience preferred.
• Ability to train staff and create work schedules.
• Experience evaluating performance and disciplining when needed.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure tasks meet policy.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
