Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a dedicated Shift Supervisor to direct daily operations in a high-volume campus dining environment in Seaside, CA. The role requires overseeing associates, scheduling, training, and ensuring quality, safety, and service standards during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety goals.
• Act as contact person for employee requests and time off.
• Mentor, develop employees and encourage advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
