Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor at 3M, New Ulm, MN. The role oversees shift activities, trains staff, and ensures safety and quality standards are met.

Start time and hours vary; a strong background in sanitation and safety is preferred. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour with opportunities for training and advancement within an IFM environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a janitorial/cleaning team is a plus.
• Sanitation and safety knowledge is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift.
• Oversee completion of assigned tasks while adhering to policy and procedures.
• Train and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward and discipline as needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.

• Requirement : Supervisor, janitorial, PIV, and floor care experience is a plus. Must have sanitation and safety knowlegde.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.

• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
