Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for a full time Shift Supervisor at a Kernersville, NC school district location. You will direct the activities of associates on a shift, ensure completion of tasks, and enforce policies.

Key duties include training and scheduling staff, evaluating performance, preparing production or reports for management, serving as main contact for time-off requests, mentoring employees, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with cleaning operations and safety standards.
• Ability to train and schedule associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety standards.
• Act as the contact person for employee requests for time off and complaints.
• Mentor, develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.

We are hiring immediately for full timeSHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.

• Location: Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools - 2500 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedules; Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Two to four years of supervisory and general cleaning experience is required.
• Pay Range: $16.25 per hour to $17.25 per hour
