Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Premier Health in Dayton, OH. Schedule is 3:30 pm to 12:00 am with weekends/holidays on call. Requires 3 years of leadership experience; ServSafe certification is preferred.

The role oversees a team and ensures adherence to policies and quality standards. You will direct associates on shift, train staff, and manage schedules, while evaluating performance and maintaining safety and productivity targets.

• Full-time shift schedule: evenings, 3:30 pm–12:00 am, days may vary.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure job expectations are met in line with policy.
• Provide training and create work schedules for team members.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are met.
• Act as the primary contact for employee questions, time-off requests, and concerns.
• Mentor employees and encourage career development within the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
