Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Monroe, NC, part of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for the Atrium Health Union location. The role leads associates on a shift (1:00 pm–9:00 pm) with occasional weekend work, ensuring policy compliance, scheduling, training, and performance management.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in food service, short order cooking, and the ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift.
• Provide training and create work schedules.

• Act as the contact person for employee complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.

• Location: ATRIUM HEALTH UNION - 600 Hospital Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday; 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Alternating weekend shift. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous supervisory and short order experience required.
• Pay Range: $18.85 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
