Compass Group is seeking a full-time shift supervisor in Byhalia, MS to direct associate activities during a shift and ensure completion of job expectations in line with company policy and procedures.

The role requires supervisory experience and may benefit from English/Spanish bilingual abilities, with responsibilities including training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and reporting on productivity, quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Position Details

• Full‑time shift supervisor.
• Location: 850 Gateway Global Dr., Byhalia, MS 38611.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; occasional weekends.
• Pay Range: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience required.
