Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is actively seeking a Supervisor for their Boca Raton location. The successful candidate will direct the activities of associates on shift, ensuring all job expectations are maintained while providing training and creating work schedules.

This full-time position offers a pay range of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour and opportunities for training and development, including various health and wellness programs and retirement plans.

The role requires a supervisory experience, and applicants may need to undergo Florida Level 2 background screening.

Location: 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431, Florida Atlantic University

Schedule: Full‑time schedule; Monday – Sunday. Days and hours may vary.

Requirement: Supervisory experience preferred, but training will be provided.

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
