Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for the Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX. The role supervises a shift, trains staff, and ensures quality, safety, and productivity while following policies.

Experience in fast food supervision preferred; benefits include comprehensive health and retirement plans. 7:00 pm–3:00 am shifts; 5 days/week. This position is on site in Abilene, TX.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 7:00 pm–3:00 am schedule.
• Experience in fast food supervision considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure duties meet policy.
• Train staff and create work schedules.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management on quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as point of contact for employee concerns or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requirement: Previous fast food supervisory experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $17.00per hour to$18.50per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
