RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team on a daily shift. You will set the tone, drive performance, and provide on-the-spot coaching to ensure exceptional service and smooth store operations.

In this role, you will manage food service, stocking, cleaning, cash handling, and compliance tasks, while promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork. Growth opportunities exist as many leaders began as Shift Managers.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Model a cheerful demeanor and motivate the team on every shift.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time and provide guidance during shifts.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train staff to meet food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communications.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, write-offs, and compliance docs.
