Starbucks Corp. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead with craft and heart, ensuring our coffeehouse remains a welcoming space for the local community. You will guide team members, coach beverage and food preparation to standard recipes, and uphold cash handling and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with or without accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Six (6) months of experience in a role involving constant interaction with customers.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of beverages/food to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Team player and relationship builder.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse welcoming for the community.
• Direct the work of team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Coach beverage and food preparation to standard recipes and adapt as needed for customers.
• Uphold store policies on cash handling, safety, and security while supporting teammates to deliver quality experiences.
