Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company seeks a Shift Supervisor in Franklin Lakes, NJ to lead with craft and heart, guiding partners to deliver high-quality beverages and food while creating a welcoming environment for the store community.

You will coach team members, oversee daily operations, ensure safety and cash handling, and maintain exceptional service across flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are required.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Maintain store policies: quality beverages/food, cash handling, safety and security.
• Six months of customer-facing experience.
• Six months of delegating tasks to others or coordinating a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coffeehouse with craft and heart to welcome customers and support community.
• Direct and coach partners to ensure quality beverages and food to standard recipes.
• Oversee daily store operations, including safety, cash handling, and service quality.
• Foster teamwork, communication, and relationship-building within the store.
• Support scheduling and coverage for flexible shifts, holidays, and peak times.
