Job summary

Tim Hortons in Southgate, MI is hiring for team members who deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting. You may be the first face guests meet or help create beloved bakery items, bringing energy, passion, and multitasking skills to the role.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling payments, delivering to tables or pickup areas, keeping the dining area pristine, stocking supplies, coaching teammates, and upholding food safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fast-paced food service preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests by taking orders and handling payments with care and courtesy.
• Delivering meals to tables or designated pickup areas while maintaining excellent service.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area, dining room, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
• Stocking sauces, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed.
• Leading and coaching team members to follow policies and deliver great hospitality.
• Making deliveries and ensuring food safety and standards are upheld.
• Open and close the restaurant and assist as a key holder when required.

Responsibilities:

• Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, making drinks and desserts by offering an immediate and respectful response to all guest's needs.
• Delivering meals to guests at their table or to a designated pick up area, and providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, restrooms and play ground.
• Stock sauces, cups, lids, etc. as needed to maintain throughout your shift.
• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.

It is Canada's largest quick-service restaurant chain, with 4,846 restaurants in 14 countries as of December 31, 2018. The company was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, by Canadian hockey players Tim Horton and Jim Charade, after an initial venture in hamburger restaurants. In 1967, Horton partnered with investor Ron Joyce, who assumed control over operations after Horton died in 1974. Joyce expanded the chain into a multi-billion dollar franchise. Charade left the organization in 1966 and briefly returned in 1970 and 1993 through 1996.
