Job summary

Waffle House is hiring immediately for shift supervisors to lead daily operations, deliver the Waffle House experience to our customers, and inspire a fast-paced, friendly team in Ripley, Tennessee.

This role emphasizes teamwork, coaching to servers and cooks, keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming, and being ready to work weekends and some holidays. Benefits include paid time off and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Entry level role; no experience required.
• Positive and friendly attitude required.
• Teens welcome; must be 16 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Waffle House experience by taking orders, preparing food to order, and keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming.
• Develop and maintain a supportive team environment; coach servers and cooks effectively.
• Lead during busy times; be available on weekends and some holidays.

The Role:

As a Shift Supervisor, your job is all about delivering the Waffle House experience to your Customers.

1. You can expect to be on your feet taking customer orders, preparing food to order, and keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming
2. We have a team environment
3. We need you to be a leader and a team player, delivering effective coaching to the Server and Cook teams
4. Our busiest time is the weekends, so we’ll ask you to be available to work some weekends as well as some holidays
