Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a Clinical Shift Supervisor to oversee nights at the Peoria Crisis facility. You will lead staff, coordinate clinical operations, and ensure effective guest care and advocacy for individuals on your shift.

The role emphasizes discharge planning, compliance with regulations, and accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA standards. A Master's in psychology or social work and state licensure are required, with at least two years of supervisory experience.

Position: Clinical Shift Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Shift Details: Nights - 7:00PM-7:30AM Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every other Wednesday.

Work Location: Crisis - Peoria RRC/Retreat, Peoria, AZ

Salary/Hourly Wage: $42.00 - $43.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $2000.00

Summary of Job: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned staff.
• Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
• Guest Care & Advocacy:
  • Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
  • Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual’s support team such as family members, friends, case managers and other area programs.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
  • Completes clinical documentation as required.
  • Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

  • Travel required based on business need.
  • Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

Physical Demands:

May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
