Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in driving store execution and customer service. When no manager is onsite, you lead the store staff, ensure opening and closing procedures, and help maintain a smooth daily operation.

You will engage with customers, supervise associates, merchandise, stock shelves, and uphold CVS service culture. This full-time role requires flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights and weekends, with pay range 16.50–24.00

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff when no manager is onsite and ensure openings/closings are completed.
• Supervise crew through assigning, directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively between store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions and resolve problems in line with policy.
• Merchandise and present products; price, stock, and reset departments as needed.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality and promote a positive shopping experience.

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Management
• Work effectively with store management and store crews
• Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
• Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
• Customer Service
• Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
• Promote CVS customer service culture. (Greet, offer help, and thank)
• Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
• Merchandise/Presentation
• Price merchandise
• Stock shelves
• Execute the displays, sign and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise
• Reset departments following POGs

Preferred Qualifications
