Job summary

Prysmian, a global leader in energy and telecom cable systems, seeks a Production Coordinator at the Du Quoin, IL facility. The role supervises one or more major manufacturing functions on a shift, coordinating resources to maintain schedules, ensure product quality, and promote safe production practices.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and lead teams with a strong focus on lean tools and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing setting.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience leading a large team in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan work and production for the shift using up-to-date process and equipment knowledge.
• Ensure associates have raw materials, instructions, machine availability and training to meet production requirements.
• Monitor safety, efficiency and quality; reduce scrap and waste; record attendance and overtime in ADP.
