About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of productivity and accountability.

• Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions swiftly.
• Manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize operational output.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in production management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably overseeing shifts.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex manufacturing processes and production teams.
• In-depth knowledge of production methodologies, quality control systems, and health & safety standards.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making abilities, particularly under pressure.
• Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to varying operational demands.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience within the Upington, Northern Cape region is a significant advantage.
