Job summary

Krier Foods Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production line, oversee equipment, and drive safe, efficient manufacturing in a fast-paced facility.

You will focus on reducing downtime, meeting quality targets, and coaching operators to take on maintenance and sanitation tasks. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with a strong emphasis on GMP adherence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Manufacturing Supervision or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience (food/beverage industry and machinery experience preferred).
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the production line, lead personnel by example, and manage processes and equipment, while fostering a positive culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime while meeting productivity, safety, and quality targets.
• Identify bottlenecks, solve problems, and implement solutions to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
• Guide, mentor, and develop team members in performing tasks safely and efficiently, with emphasis on developing operators for maintenance and sanitation tasks.
• Prioritize team well-being and maintain a positive, disciplined work environment.
• Communicate effectively with Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams for seamless coordination.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, PPE, forklift safety, break times, and SOPs.
• Lead Shop Floor Meetings, update efficiency boards, and ensure accurate production records.
• Monitor training progress and ensure adherence to job standards and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate resources to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, line changeovers, and sanitation.
