Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to five years production experience required; preferably in pork industry.
• Ability to read and interpret English safety and operating documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with staff.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees on shift and assist in supervision.
• Direct, instruct and provide feedback in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Ensure safe, correct, and high-quality performance of jobs.
• Coordinate new employee activities and shift training.
• Record hours, attendance, and produce timely reports.
• Enforce safety procedures and monitor equipment operation.
• Maintain records/logs of activities and production data.
• Support quality management system and daily safety programs.
