Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards using prescribed policies.

The Manager II uses established procedures to make management decisions, supervise associates, and support scheduling, safety, and guest service initiatives at the unit.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and policy documents; communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants.
• Ensures compliance with all adult beverage policies and AB procedures by staff.
• Participates in hiring, provides input on staffing decisions, and assists GM with promotions and terminations.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas and proper equipment operation.
• Handles cash register operations and maintains cash security per policy.
• Monitors health and safety procedures and reports concerns to the GM.
• Places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices.
• Keeps contact information for associates up to date.
