APM Terminals Pier 400 in Los Angeles is seeking an HSSE professional to join our on-site team. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating HSSE risks, incident response, data reporting, and applying Lean principles to improve safety and efficiency in a high-tech terminal environment.
Qualified candidates will have a STEM-focused Bachelor's degree, 0-3 years HSSE experience, strong written/presentation skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Access.

You will report directly to the Interface & Integration Director. This role has no direct reports but is expected to supervise multiple contractors and third‑party vendors. Work is performed primarily on-site at the terminal in Los Angeles, CA, across indoor and outdoor environments, with occasional domestic and international travel.
