Job summary

Charter Foods, a Taco Bell franchisee, is seeking a Shift Manager to lead your restaurant shifts, train Team Members, and ensure safe, high‑quality service while meeting brand standards.

You will manage inventory, assist with budgeting, and help guide the team to deliver fast, friendly service. Must be 18+, capable of standing long hours and lifting, with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Ability to supervise & motivate the team, while working side-by-side with them.
• Able to sweep/mop, lift and carry trash, and manage environment.
• Able to tolerate standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and team to deliver safe, quality food and customer service.
• Manage inventory and assist with financial accountability during each shift.
• Support the Management Team to meet Charter Foods and brand standards.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to Team Members as needed.

Charter Foods a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking a Shift Manager / Hourly Manager to support the Management Team in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As a Shift Manager / Hourly Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to lead your shift by leading the team with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Ability to supervise & motivate the team, while working side-by-side with them
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.
