Job summary

Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager to serve as Manager-on-Duty, leading daily operations, safety, and guest experience at our Arlington, TX location. This role focuses on developing people, driving performance, and building a strong frontline leadership foundation.

You'll rotate through leadership areas, coach teams, uphold brand standards, and ensure smooth shift execution with excellent communication and decisive decision-making.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience.
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
• Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members.
• Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability.
• Model company values and enforce policies and procedures.
• Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
• Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance.
• Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps.
• Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization.

As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. What You'll Do

Lead Operations

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards

Coach and Develop Teams

Rotational Leadership Focus Areas -

People & Staffing Leadership -- Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance

Operations & Tunnel Leadership -- Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization

What We're Looking For
