Job summary

Five Guys in Maryland is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations when the General Manager is away. You will support crew and shift leaders, maintain food safety standards, manage inventory and customer relations, and help keep the location running smoothly.

You will be paid $22.00 per hour plus tips and bonus, with opportunities for growth as Five Guys expands across North America and promotes from within.

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily restaurant operations in the General Manager’s absence and supervise crew members and shift leaders.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product prep, delivery, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high food quality.

Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence: ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
