Job summary

Five Guys in Richmond, VA is seeking a Shift Manager to help run daily operations. The pay is $20.00/hour plus tips and a bonus, with real work/life hours and a plan for growth across North America.

You will lead a team, ensure quality and safety, and help open new locations as we expand. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, a 401(k) with match, and employee assistance programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations in the General Manager’s absence, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Oversee product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management.
• Train shift managers to perform duties of crew members and shift leaders.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence: ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
