Job summary

McAlister’s Deli is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to lead restaurant teams, supervise front-of-house and back-of-house operations, and ensure every guest experiences top-notch hospitality.

This role emphasizes people development, cost awareness, and service excellence, with growth opportunities in Terrell, TX. Competitive hourly pay of $13.00 to $18.00, paid time off, and benefits are available. No late nights; restaurants close by 9–10 pm.

Qualifications

• One year of key employee, shift supervisor or hourly management experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Run successful shifts in front-of-house dining and back-of-house kitchen.
• Build the business through genuine hospitality.
• Oversee labor, food, and product costs for expense control.
• Interact with guests to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned by managers.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$13.00 - $18.00 / per hour

Requirements

• One year of Key employee, Shift Supervisor or Hourly management related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Running successful shifts in the front of house dining and back of house kitchen
• Building our business through our core value of genuine hospitality
• Expense supervision when it comes to labor, food and product orders
• Interact with guests and ensure their experience in our restaurant is one-of-a-kind
• Must be able to complete all other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Assistant Managers or the General Manager
