Job summary

Arby's, Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager to help operate the restaurant on a day-to-day basis. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager, ensuring smooth shift operations and assisting with performance and training initiatives.

You will gain experience across restaurant operations—from customer service to food preparation and cash handling—while building time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Training is ongoing and growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in foodservice; Serve Safe certification a plus (training may be provided)
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with inventory, cost controls, and cash handling

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager during shifts.
• Ensure all aspects of operations run smoothly.
• Oversee service, food safety, and cost controls during shifts.
• Supervise a shift of up to 15 employees and comply with labor laws

Job description

Our Shift Managers are in the meat pit, operating our restaurants on a day-to-day basis. You will help support the General Manager and Assistant Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. If that weren’t cool enough, you’ll also help team members through performance and training initiatives. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will keep our customers coming back for more.
