Job summary

Bueno is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and support the General/Assistant Manager. You will guide team members through training and performance initiatives while delivering exceptional customer service to guests.

The position requires QSR experience, POS familiarity, and ServSafe certification where possible, with availability for evenings, holidays, and weekends. Growth opportunities are available within the team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use

• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk-in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
