Job summary

Workstream is looking for a Shift Leader in Metairie, Louisiana. The role involves overseeing restaurant operations to ensure quality products and exceptional customer service. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry and a High School Diploma or GED is preferred. The Shift Leader will be responsible for team leadership and compliance with company standards while maintaining profitability and smooth operations.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Shift Leader, you’ll oversee restaurant operations during your shift to ensure quality products, great customer service, and strong team performance. You’ll lead by example, support company policies and procedures, and help maintain compliance with all safety and business standards while keeping the restaurant profitable and running smoothly.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
