Job summary

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill in Utah is seeking an assistant manager to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced, from-scratch kitchen environment. You will develop and mentor staff, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires 2+ years of restaurant management, a valid driver’s license, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Competitive pay with monthly bonuses and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hrs.
• 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant environment.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays; may exceed 40 hours.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Proof of valid driver’s license

• 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with customers, and coaching employees to assume increasingly challenging roles
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as well as work weeks that may at times exceed 40 hours
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; able to easily interact with diverse employees, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
