Subway in Foley, AL is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team focused on guest satisfaction, safe food handling, and clean, welcoming dining areas. You will cascade training to Sandwich Artists, supervise staff, and ensure inventory controls are followed during each shift.

The role emphasizes teamwork, operational uptime, and the ability to complete paperwork as needed while coordinating with multiple shifts in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
