Taco Bell in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Shift Lead to energize the team, uphold Taco Bell standards, resolve customer concerns, and coach teammates. You will partner with the GM to drive operations and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) routine and prioritize customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' Shift Excellence tasks and appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on performance.
• Offer constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts with GM to achieve resolution.
• Assist GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with P&L by cash control, inventory, and labor.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times.

Partnering with the management team, you'll play a key role in business initiatives, helping to shape the future of our restaurant. The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.

Is this you?

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 45 lbs. from one area to another).
• Attendance and Punctuality a must
• Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers.
• Basic Math skills

The range for this role is $14-$22/hour. This is a nationwide range and is solely dependent on the geographical location where the restaurant is located.
